After yet another interesting call with one of my real-life contacts, I was struggling to come up with a word to describe the mind numbing idiocy that I had just had to deal with … and some random bashing on the keyboard delivered this :
fufsioud fhiosa cunswcup
Drop the last c from the last word and you get my new insult.
Which I really kind of like …

It would be too easy to give a plain old vanilla definition such as :
cunswup (cun-s-wup)
n.
1. A stupid person; a dolt.
2. Psychology. A person of extreme mental retardation having a mental age of from 4 to 7 years.
3. Deformed and mentally retarded person
synonyms :
windowlicker, mouthbreather
You and I both know more than our fair share of people that fall into this category 😉
However it is too narrow a description – cunswup is more conceptual as opposed to a strict set of definitions.
It is to be used as an insult of the highest order, when you search for a word to encompass the scale of the stupitidy infront of you and you feel existing words fail to do it justice 😉
I have to admit I quite like your new insult! Although I don’t think I can use it in any of my academic writings (“However, the approach proposed by Cunswup et al. fails to produce any relevant results”) I will contribute to its adoption 🙂 Spread the word!
